How to Add Disk Cleanup to the Right-Click Menu

You will learn how to add Disk Cleanup to the right-click menu of the drive in Windows 10 in this post. Let’s get started.

Here are the steps:

Open the Registry Editor. Before proceeding, I suggest that you backup the Registry.

Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > Drive > shell.

Simply right-click on the shell key. Choose New > Key. Hit Enter after typing diskcleanup.

Double-click on Default in the right pane.

You may enter any name in the Value data field. I will give Disk Cleanup in this instance. Keep in mind that the name of the option you see in the context menu is this.

Hit the OK button.

Then right-click the diskcleanup key you made earlier. Select New > Key. Provide the name as command and then hit the Enter key.

Double-click on Default in the right pane. In the Value data field, enter cleanmgr.exe /d %1.

Hit the OK button.

That’s all.

Now, right-click the drive on your PC to see the changes.
