How to Enable Always on Top in Windows Terminal

The Windows Terminal’s Always on Top functionality keeps it on top of other open windows.

Let’s see how to enable it. I use Windows 11 here.

Enable Windows Terminal Always on Top

Here are the steps:

Press Windows + R to open Run. Type in wt and press the Enter key.

Press the down arrow at the top of the Windows Terminal window.

Now, hit Settings.

Hit Appearance in the left sidebar.

There’s a toggle beneath the “Always on top” on the right pane.

Please turn it on (to enable) or off (to disable), whichever you prefer.

Click on the Save button.

That’s all.

Remember that this feature will remain enabled until it is disabled.

I hope this guide, “How to Enable Always on Top in Windows Terminal,” is helpful to you.
