How to Copy the Link on Facebook and Instagram

Remember that the copied link is on your device’s clipboard, and you can paste it wherever you want. Let’s begin.
Copy Facebook Post Link
If you’re a PC user, follow these steps:
On Facebook, find the post you prefer. Click on the timestamp in the post and copy the address in the address bar.
If you’re an Android phone or iPhone user, follow these steps:
In the Facebook app, find the post you want.
Tap the three horizontal dots (on Android) or the “Share” option (on iPhone).
Hit the “Copy link” option.

Alternative Method (For Android Only)
Tap the “Share” option in the post you want, select “More options,” and “Copy.”
Copy Facebook Profile or Page Link
The below steps apply to a profile or page of yours and others.
Here are the steps:
Go to your profile or page in the Facebook or FB app.
On PC, copy the address in the address bar, and that’s it.
On Android or iPhone, tap the “three horizontal dots” button beneath the cover photo. Hit the “Copy link” button to copy the link.

Here’s an alternate method that applies to other pages only on Android or iPhone.
Go to the page. Click the “Share” icon at the top right. Tap “Copy Link.”

Copy Facebook Group Link
PC
Go to the FB group and copy the address in the address bar.
Android or iPhone
For your group, follow these steps:
Go to your group. Hit the “Manage” button and scroll down. Hit “Share Group” at the bottom and tap “Copy link.”

For other groups, follow these steps:
Go to the group you prefer.
On Android, hit “Share” in the top right corner and tap “Copy Link.” That’s it.
On iPhone, tap the three horizontal lines at the top left and hit three horizontal dots. Hit the “Share” option and tap “Copy link.”
Copy Your Instagram Profile Link
You can copy the link on the Instagram desktop version, and here’s how:
Go to Instagram and sign in.
Hit “Profile” in the left sidebar to view the profile link in your browser’s address bar. Copy that, and that’s all.
Here’s how you can do the task on Android or iPhone:
In the Instagram app, tap the three horizontal lines at the top right of your profile.
Select the “QR Code” between “Archive” and “Saved.”
You can view the QR code of your profile now and hit the “Share profile” to share the QR code of your profile with others.
Alternatively, you can use the “Copy link” to copy your profile link and share it with others.

Copy Others Instagram Profile, Post, Story, and Reel Link

PC
To copy the profile link, visit the profile of the person you wish on the Desktop version. In the address bar, you can see the link. Copy and share it with others.
Let’s see how to copy a post or reel link on Instagram.
Go to Instagram and sign in to your account.
Find a post or reel you prefer. Hit it and click the three horizontal dots at the top.
The “Copy link” option is for copying the link, and the “Share to” option is for sharing.
If you hit the former, the link is copied to the clipboard, and when you hit the latter, you’ll see these options:
- Share to Direct – For sharing on Instagram.
- Share to Facebook
- Share to Messenger
- Share to Twitter
- Share via Email
- QR Code – For getting the QR code.
- Copy link – For copying the link.
That’s it.
For the story, you need to open it and copy the link in the address bar.
To send the story, open it and hit the icon beside the “Heart” icon at the bottom. You can choose the person in the popup and send the story to them.
Android or iPhone
To copy the profile link, go to the profile you wish.
Tap the three horizontal or vertical dots at the top right and select “Copy profile URL.” The profile URL is copied to the clipboard.

You can share it with others via WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, or apps like that, or use it as a WhatsApp status or Instagram story.
For the QR code of that profile, tap the “QR code” (on iPhone) or “Show QR code” (on Android).
You can use the “Share this profile” option to share the profile on DM with your following.
To copy another’s post or reel link, follow these steps:
Launch the Instagram app and find a post or reel you want.
Tap the three vertical dots at the top right if you’re on Android or three horizontal dots at the top right if you’re on iPhone.
Select “Link.”
That’s all. The link is in your clipboard now.
The “QR code” shows the QR code for the post or reel, which you can save or share with others. The “Share” option is for sharing it via apps.
To copy the story link, follow these steps:
Open the story.
Tap the three vertical dots at the upper right if you’re on Android. On iPhone, tap the three horizontal dots at the top right.
Tap “Copy link” to copy the story link. The “Share to” option is for sharing the link via apps.
