How to Activate Dark Mode on Microsoft Edge

How to Activate Dark Mode on Microsoft Edge (PC)

You can activate the dark theme for Edge by following these steps:

Open the Edge browser and hit the three horizontal dots at the top right.

Click on “Settings.”

Click “Appearance” on the left sidebar.

Under the Overall appearance section, you’ll see Dark, Light, and System default.

Select “Dark,” and that’s it.

Notes:

  • Select “Light” to turn off dark mode.
  • The “System default” option applies the dark mode state of the PC to Edge.

How to Activate Dark Mode on Microsoft Edge (iPhone)

You can enable dark mode for the Edge app as follows:

Open the Edge app and tap the button with the three horizontal dots below.

Hit Settings and select Appearance.

Select Dark and then hit Done at the top right.

That’s it.

Notes:

  • Select “Light” to turn off dark mode.
  • The System default option applies the iPhone’s dark mode state to Edge.

How to Activate Dark Mode on Microsoft Edge (Android)

You can enable dark mode for the Edge app as follows:

Launch the Edge app and tap the button with the three horizontal dots at the bottom.

Hit Settings > Appearance.

You’ll see three options: System default, Light, and Dark.

Select “Dark,” and that’s it.

Notes:

  • To disable dark mode, select “Light.”
  • System default option applies Android’s dark mode state to Edge.
