How to Change Default Window Size and Position of Command Prompt

Here you can see how to customize the default window size and position of the Windows 10 Command Prompt window.

Let’s take a look at the steps.

Open Command Prompt.

Right-click on the title bar.

Hit Properties.

Go to the Layout tab.

The Window Size section includes Height and Width fields. With those, you can change the window size.

In the Window Position section, you can see the Left and Top fields. Uncheck the Let system position window option.

Now you can adjust the window’s position using those fields.

Hit the OK button.

That’s all.
