How to Disable Printing on Microsoft Edge

In this post, you’ll see two different ways to disable printing on the Edge. Let’s get started.

Method #1

Launch local group policy editor.

Navigate to the Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Edge > Printing.

Then double-click “Enable printing” in the right pane.

Select Disabled.

Hit the OK button.

That’s all.

Note: To enable it, follow the steps above but select Enabled or Not Configured.

Method #2

Open Registry Editor. I suggest a Registry backup before proceeding.

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Policies > Microsoft > Edge.

Right-click on the blank space in the right pane.

Select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Type PrintingEnabled and then hit the Enter key.

That’s it.

Note: To enable it, provide 1 in the Value data field of the DWORD or delete the DWORD you created earlier.
