Here’s how to empty the Recycle Bin:
On the desktop, right-click the “Recycle Bin” icon and select “Empty Recycle Bin”.
In the confirmation pop-up, click “Yes.”
After opening the Recycle Bin, you can do one of the following:
- Click the “Empty Recycle Bin” option, which you can find under the “Recycle Bin Tools” tab in Ribbon at the top. Click “Yes” in the confirmation popup.
- Right-click on the blank area and select “Empty Recycle Bin.” Click “Yes” in the confirmation popup.
- Press Ctrl + A and then press the “Delete” key. Click “Yes” in the confirmation popup.
Type this command: Clear-RecycleBin -Force
Press the Enter key.
Select Recycle Bin and uncheck all others.
Hit the OK button.
In the confirmation pop-up, click Delete Files.
Note: You need to do this for every drive on your PC if you have more than one.
