How to Find If Your Android Device is MediaTek (MTK) or Not

Written by Thirumalraj

If you want to know if your Android device has a MediaTek (MTK) chipset or not, follow these steps:

Install and open the CPU-Z app.

By default, you are on the “SOC” tab.

In it, you can see your device’s chipset at the top.

In our case, the app shows that my device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, which is correct.

Alternatively, if you want to complete the above task without installing the app, follow the steps below:

Visit the GSMArena website.

Hit the search box at the top.

Tap your model from the suggestions you can see when entering your device model.

You are now on the device specification page, where you will find the chipset information in the “Platform” section.

In our case, you can see that my device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

If your device’s specification page is unavailable on GSMArena, search Google for your device specifications and find the chipset information.
