How to Change Font Style and Color in WhatsApp

Written by Thirumalraj

This post shows you how to change the font style and color in WhatsApp status, about, and chat.

On the WhatsApp app, Web, and Desktop, you can change font size and some font styles, such as bold.

But the following third-party app allows you to use many font styles and change font color (Blue only).

The step in this guide is only for an Android phone. Let’s start.

Change Font Style in WhatsApp Text Status, About, and Chat

Install and open the Blue Words app.

At the bottom, you can see these tabs: Text Styles, Number Styles, Text style Art, and Stickers. Make sure you’re in the former.

Above, you can see many options like all caps. Choose the one you like.

You can see many text styles on the screen now, including underlining.

Choose your preferred font style for the chat, about, or status. I picked “Slash words.”

In the Type here field, provide the text you want. You can see the preview at the top.

Hit the Copy icon beside the preview to copy the text in your chosen style. Alternatively, you can long press it to copy it.

Paste it in the text status, about, or chat per your preference.

That’s it.

If you want to use this copied text as a status or message, you can also follow these steps:

Once you have typed your message, as said in the above steps, hit the Share icon at the bottom right.

In the popup, at the top, you can see Share with WhatsApp. Hit Just once.

If you want to set it as status, hit “My status” and the arrow icon at the bottom.

Make any changes here if you wish, and hit the Send icon.

If you want to send it as a message, hit the chat you prefer and tap the arrow icon at the bottom right.

Hit the Send button, and that’s all.
