When you open a drive or folder in Windows 10, its name will appear in the File Explorer title bar by default.
Follow these steps to show the full path instead of the name in the File Explorer title bar:
Open the File Explorer Options by pressing Windows + R. Type control folders and then press Enter.
Navigate to the View tab.
Click the “OK” button at the bottom.
From now on, you’ll always be able to find the full path in the title bar of File Explorer.
- You cannot find these folders (Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos) path in the title bar when you try to open them from This PC or Quick access.
- Remove the check from the option mentioned in the steps and click “OK” to return to the default setting.
