How to Open Notepad++ from Command Prompt

How to Open Notepad++ from CMD

Press Windows + R to launch the Run Command Box.

Enter cmd, then press the Enter key.

In Command Prompt, type start notepad++ and hit Enter.

Now you can see Notepad++.

Here are some alternative ways to accomplish the same task:

Method #1

Press Windows + R to open the Run command.

Enter powershell and then hit Enter.

Type the start notepad++ command in the Windows PowerShell window and press Enter.

Method #2

By pressing Windows + R, open Run. Type notepad++ and then press Enter.

Open the Start menu.

Notepad++ appears in the search results when you type notepad++. Click it.

Method #4

Open the Start menu.

Notepad++ can be found in the N section of the app list.

Method #5

Open the C drive.

Open the Programs Files folder.

Double-click the Notepad++ folder.
