How to Open Taskbar Settings in Windows 10

Method #1

Right-click on the empty area of the taskbar.

In the context menu, select “Taskbar settings”.

Method #2

Open the Settings app.

Click on the “Personalization” option.

Choose “Taskbar” from the left sidebar.

Method #3

Open Run. In it, type ms-settings:taskbar. Hit the “OK” button.

You can also use the above command in the address toolbar, the address bar of File Explorer and Task Manager (In it, click on File > Run new task option to use the command).

Alternatively, you can use the command start ms-settings:taskbar in Command Prompt and Windows PowerShell.

How to Create a Taskbar Settings Shortcut

Steps are below to create a taskbar settings shortcut on your Windows 10 desktop or File Explorer.

Right-click on the desktop or File Explorer blank area.

Hover your mouse over “New” in the context menu.

Hit “Shortcut.”

Type ms-settings:taskbar in the “Create Shortcut” pop-up. Click “Next”.

Specify a shortcut name if you don’t like the one suggested.

Click on the “Finish” button.
