How to Set Per-App Sound Outputs in Windows 10

You can set volume, sound input, and output devices for individual apps in Windows 10, and here’s how:

Open the sound settings.

In the “Advanced sound options” section below, click “App volume and device preferences.”

You can now find the list of apps. If you don’t see the name of your desired app, that means you haven’t started it yet. Launch it, and you’ll see it.

Adjust the volume level by using the slider next to the app name.

This volume level is a percentage of the master volume level.

Next to the app name, select the sound output and input devices you want by opening the “Output” and “Input” drop-down lists.

That’s all.

Remember that Windows 10 will remember the settings you have set for each app, and every time you launch the app, it’ll have these settings.
