How to Pin Task Manager on the Windows 11 Taskbar

Let’s see how to add the Task Manager to the Windows 11 taskbar, Quick access, and Start menu.

Pin Task Manager to Taskbar

To pin the Task Manager to the taskbar, follow these steps:

Open the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Escape.

You can now see its icon on the taskbar. Right-click on it and select Pin to taskbar.

That’s all.

To unpin it, right-click on it and view the “Unpin from taskbar” option. Hit it, and that’s it.

Pin Task Manager to Start Menu

To pin the Task Manager to the Start menu, follow these steps:

Open the Start menu. Type task manager and see the Task Manager app in the search results.

You can see the Pin to Start and Pin to taskbar option on the right.

The latter is for adding the Task Manager to the taskbar, and the former is for adding it to the Start menu.

Hit the former, and that’s all. You can find the Task Manager in the Start menu’s Pinned section.

To unpin it from the Start menu, open the Start menu, find it, and right-click on it. Select Unpin from Start, and that’s it.

Pin Task Manager to Windows 11 Quick Access

To pin Task Manager to Quick access, follow these steps:

Open C > Windows > System32. Find the Taskmgr file.

Right-click on it and select Pin to Quick access.

That’s all. You can now see the Task Manager in the Pinned files section of Quick access.
