How to Remove Move to OneDrive from Context Menu

If OneDrive is running, you will see the “Move to OneDrive” option when you right-click a file.

Let’s take a look at how to remove Move to OneDrive from the context menu in Windows 10.

Open the Registry Editor. I recommend that you create a backup of the Registry before continuing.

If you only want to do this for the current user, go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Shell Extensions > Blocked.

If you want to do this for users, then go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Shell Extensions > Blocked.

Simply right-click on the blank space in the right pane.

Select New > String Value.

Provide {CB3D0F55-BC2C-4C1A-85ED-23ED75B5106B} as name and then hit the Enter key.

You can restart File Explorer or sign out and sign back in.

So that’s it.

To get back this option, delete the String Value you created. Make sure to restart File Explorer or log out and log back in.
