How to Remove Open in Windows Terminal from Context Menu

If you don’t want the Open in Windows Terminal option in the context menu, then you can remove it, and here’s how:

Launch Registry Editor.

I suggest you take a Registry backup before proceeding.

Go to the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Shell Extensions > Blocked.

In the right pane, right-click on the blank space.

Select New > String Value.

Provide {9F156763-7844-4DC4-B2B1-901F640F5155} and then hit the Enter key.

Log out and log back in.

That’s all.

Note: If you want to add this option to the context menu, then delete the String Value you’ve created above and then sign out and sign in.
