How to Remove Send to Menu from Context Menu

If you right click on a file or folder, you can see the Send to menu in the context menu.

You can remove it if you do not want it. I’m using a Windows 10 PC here. Let’s get started.

Remove Send to Menu from Context Menu

Open Registry Editor. I suggest you take a backup of the Registry before proceeding.

Go to the following keys: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > AllFilesystemObjects > shellex > ContextMenuHandlers > SendTo.

Double-click Default on the right pane.

Remove the content from the Value data field.

Hit the OK button.

That’s all. From now on, you cannot see the Send to menu in the context menu.

If you want to add the Send to menu to the context menu, then all you need to do is follow the above steps and provide {7BA4C740-9E81-11CF-99D3-00AA004AE837} in the Value data field.
