(2022) Make Siri Send or Read WhatsApp Messages

You can send WhatsApp messages using Siri and also use it to place WhatsApp calls (video and voice) and read unread messages.

Let’s see how to do all the above on iPhone.

But first, you must activate Siri and allow it to access your WhatsApp data.

Here are the steps:

  1. Open the Settings app and select Siri & Search.
  2. Enable the “Listen for Hey Siri” option.
  3. Scroll down until you find WhatsApp and hit it.
  4. Enable the “Use with Ask Siri” option, and that’s it.

Note: To make Siri open the WhatsApp Messenger app, say Hey Siri and this command: Open WhatsApp.

Send WhatsApp Messages with Siri

Here are the steps:

  1. Say “Hey Siri,” and once it pops up, say “Send WhatsApp message to X.” X is the name of the contact or group you like.
  2. It’ll ask for your message and tell your message.
  3. You can now see a preview of your WhatsApp message.
  4. Say “Send” to send the message, and that’s it.

Note: Using Siri, you can’t send WhatsApp voice messages.

Make a WhatsApp Call with Siri

Say, “Hey Siri,” and once it pops up, say, “Make a WhatsApp call to X.”

X is the name of the contact or group you prefer.

That’s it. Siri will make a WhatsApp voice call to the one you like.

To make a WhatsApp video call, you need to say, “Make a WhatsApp video call to X.”

X is the name of the contact or group you prefer.

Make Siri Read Out Unread WhatsApp Messages

To get Siri to read your unread WhatsApp messages, you need to say “Read unread WhatsApp messages” after saying “Hey Siri.”

Siri will read the messages for you from every conversation and question whether you would like to reply.
