How to Send Multiple Photos on WhatsApp
In this post, you’ll see the steps to send single or many photos at once on WhatsApp.
You’ll also view how to send the WhatsApp images you received to your preferred email address and send the “View Once” photo or video. Let’s begin.
Send Multiple Photos on WhatsApp at Once
Android
In WhatsApp, open the chat you like.
Hit the “Paper clip” icon in the compose box at the bottom.
Select “Gallery.”
To send a single image, hit it and the “Send.” That’s all.
To send multiple pictures, follow these steps:
Go to where the images exist. Tap the “Checklist” icon at the top-right.
Select the photos you want and hit the “Tick” icon at the bottom right.
Hit the “Send” icon.
iPhone
Open the WhatsApp chat and hit the “+” icon at the bottom left.
Select “Photo & Video Library” and hit the picture you want to send.
Tap the “Send” icon to send it. If you want to send multiple pictures, follow these steps:
Tap the “+” icon at the bottom left.
WhatsApp allows you to send a maximum of 30 pictures. You’ve already selected one photo in the above steps, so you can now select up to 29 images.
After selecting them, hit “Done” at the top right. Tap the “Send” icon.
Desktop or Web
Open the Web or Desktop app and click on the conversation you like.
Hit the “Paper clip” icon beside the compose box at the bottom.
Select the “File” (on the Desktop) or the “Gallery” icon (on the Web).
Choose the image you want.
Hit the “Open” button and provide the caption if you wish. Do other modifications, too, if you want.
Hit “Send” if you want to send an image.
To send multiple images at once, follow these steps:
Hit the “+” icon and select the remaining ones. Click “Open” and hit the “Send” icon.
Send a Photo from WhatsApp to Email
Note: You can’t do this task on the WhatsApp Desktop app and Web.
Open the WhatsApp chat.
Long-press (on Android) or hit (on iPhone) the picture you want to email.
On Android, hit the three vertical dots in the top right and select “Share.”
On iPhone, select the “Share” icon at the bottom left and “Share” between “Forward” and “Set as my Profile Photo.”
Select “Gmail,” provide the email address in the “To” field and tap “Send” in the top right.
Send View Once Photo or Video on WhatsApp
You can send photos and videos on WhatsApp, which the recipient can view only once. This feature is called “View Once.”
Note that:
- Media (pictures and videos) set to view once will not be auto-downloaded. You can’t also manually download it.
- You can’t star or forward the photo or video.
- It will expire if the recipient doesn’t open a picture or video within 14 days.
Let’s see how to use this feature on Android or iPhone.
After you choose a picture or video to send, in the caption field at the bottom, you’ll see an icon showing 1. Hit it.
You can now see this message: Video (or Photo) set to view once.
Remember that hitting the same icon will turn off the view once.
Hit the “Send” icon, and that’s it.
The recipient will see the image you sent as the “Photo.” In the case of video, they’ll see “Video.”
They can view the item by tapping it. And here, the recipient can delete the message and report.
If they hit the “Back arrow” on the top left, they’ll be on the chat screen and see the message “Opened” in the item’s place.
