Send WhatsApp Message Without Saving or Adding Number

Written by Thirumalraj

You can send a WhatsApp message to anyone who isn’t on your phone’s “Contacts.”

“Click to chat” is a WhatsApp feature that helps us complete this task.

You can do it on a smartphone and PC. I use Google Pixel 4a (Android 12), iPhone X, and Windows 11 PC.

Table of Contents

Send Messages Without Saving a Number (iPhone or Android)

Here are the steps to follow if you’re using iPhone or Android phone:

Open the browser of your choice and type the following in the address bar:

wa.me/country code and your phone number

Replace “country code” with the phone number’s country code. Replace “your phone number” with the number for which you want to send a message.

For example: wa.me/910000000000

In the above example, 91 is the country code of India, and the rest is the phone number.

Hit Enter key if you’re on Android. If you’re using iPhone, hit the go key.

If you’re using an Android device, tap the Continue to Chat button, and you will see the chat screen of the number in the WhatsApp Messenger app.

If you’re using iPhone, in popup, hit Open, and you’ll see the chat screen of the number in the WhatsApp app.

Type the message and send it.

That’s it.

Note: If the number you give is not on WhatsApp, WhatsApp will tell you of that.

Press Enter key.

Select the checkbox and hit the “Open URL:whatsapp” button in the popup.

If you have the Desktop app installed on your PC, you’ll now see the chat screen of the number you’ve entered in the above steps in the Desktop app. Type the message and send it.

If you’re using WhatsApp Web, follow the steps below:

Click on Continue to Chat button.

Hit “use WhatsApp Web.”

That’s all. You can send the message to this number now. Type the message you prefer and hit the “Send” icon.
