Let’s look at two different methods to show hidden files and folders in an Android phone.
Pick the one you like. I’m using Google Pixel 4a (Android 12).
Method #1
Here are the steps:
Open the Files app.
Hit the three vertical lines at the top left.
Tap “Settings.”
Enable (to show) or disable (to hide) the “Show hidden files” option.
That’s it.
Method #2
Connect your Android device to the PC (I’m using Windows 11 PC) via USB.
On your Android device, slide down from the top, and you will see a notification regarding USB.
Expand it and then tap it.
Select the “File Transfer / Android Auto” option.
That’s it.
Now, open File Explorer on your PC, go to This PC, and you will see the name of your Android device. Double-click on it.
You can see your Android device’s storage. Double-click it, and that’s all.
I hope this guide, “How to Show Hidden Files and Folders in Android,” is helpful to you.
