How to Hide or Show Home Button on Chrome

In this post, you’ll see the steps to show or hide the home button on Chrome.

I’m using Google Pixel 4a (Android 12) and Windows 11 PC. Let’s start.

How to Hide or Show Home Button on Google Chrome (PC)

Here are the steps:

Open the Chrome browser and click on the three vertical dots at the top right.

Select “Settings.”

Hit “Appearance” on the left sidebar.

You will see a toggle switch next to the “Show home button.”

Please disable it to hide the home button.

If you want to show the Home button, follow the steps below:

Please enable it, and see the Home button in the Chrome toolbar.

After activation, you will see two options – “New Tab page” and “Enter custom web address.”

Remember that clicking the home button takes you to the home page, and Chrome has set the “New Tab page” as your home page by default. If you want to set up a custom URL as your home page, use the “Enter custom web address” option.
