By default, visitors to your Facebook page may see other pages similar to yours in your page timeline.
Additionally, your page may appear in the timeline of other pages similar to yours.
If you don’t want that, then this guide is for you.
Let’s see how to turn off similar page suggestions on PC, Android, and iPhone. Remember that you must be an admin to do this.
If you’re using a PC, follow these steps:
Sign in to Facebook.
Hit your page name in the Your Pages section on the right sidebar.
Find and click Settings on the left sidebar.
Similar Page Suggestions appear on the right. This one is under Profanity Filter. Click on it.
Uncheck Include (your page name) when recommending similar Pages people might like on a page timeline.
Then click Save Changes.
Note: You can turn this on by checking the checkbox. Make sure that you save the changes.
Android or iPhone
Open the Facebook app.
Tap the three horizontal dots at the top if you’re on Android. Tap the three horizontal dots at the bottom if you’re on an iPhone.
Hit your page. Tap the Gear icon in the top right.
Hit General. Under Similar Page Suggestions, you’ll find the following options:
- On – To turn on.
- Off – To turn off.
Pick the one you prefer.
