(2022) How to Allow Others to Post on My Facebook Timeline

Written by Thirumalraj

By default, your friends can post on your FB timeline.

Follow the below steps if you want to be the only one to post on your timeline.

And here’s an important question and its answer:

How to block one particular friend from posting on your timeline? Since Facebook doesn’t have that option, you can’t do that.

Here, I use Android, iPhone, and PC. Let’s start with the latter.

Table of Contents

Allow or Stop Others from Posting on Your Facebook Wall (PC)

Here are the steps:

Log in to your Facebook account.

Click the profile picture on the top right.

Go to Settings & privacy > Settings.

Select “Profile and tagging” from the left sidebar.

On the right, you’ll see “Who can post on your profile.”

You’ll see a drop-down list after you click it. Open it, and you’ll find two options: “Friends” and “Only me.”

Select “Only me” to stop others from posting on your FB wall. Select “Friends” to allow your friends to post on your Facebook timeline.

Click on the Save button, and that’s all.

Allow or Stop People from Posting on Your Facebook Timeline (Android or iPhone)

Here are the steps:

Open the Facebook app.

Hit the Menu (three horizontal lines) at the bottom if you’re on an iPhone or the top if you’re on an Android.

Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.

You can find “Profile and tagging” between “Followers and public content” and “Blocking” in the “Audience and visibility” section. Hit it.

In the Viewing and sharing section, tap “Who can post on your profile.”

You can see these options: “Friends” and “Only me.”

Select the latter to stop others from posting on your timeline. Choose the former to allow others to post on your wall.

That’s all.

Thanks for reading.
