How to Set Tab Stop in WordPad

When you hit the Tab key, the cursor will be in a position called tab stop.

You can set up a tab stop on Windows 10 WordPad and here’s how:

In the WordPad document, select the paragraph(s) for which you want to apply, tab stop.

Right-click on the body of the document.

Hit the Paragraph.

In the pop-up, hit the Tabs button.

In the Tabs pop-up, type the inches in the number as per your liking and then hit the Enter key.

Remember that you can set as many tab stops as you want.

After that, hit the OK button.

That’s all.

If you want to clear a single or all tab stop you’ve set, then follow these steps:

Select the paragraph(s) for which you want to remove the tab stop.

Open the Tabs pop-up using the above steps.

If you want to clear a single one, then select it and then hit the Clear button.

If you want to clear everything, then hit the Clear all button.

Hit the OK button.

That’s all.
