Written by Thirumalraj

In this post, you will see the steps to set who can send you friend requests on FB.

I use a PC, Android, and iPhone here. Let’s begin.

Set Who Can Send You Friend Requests on Facebook (PC)

Here are the steps:

Sign in to Facebook.

Hit your profile picture in the top right corner.

Click Settings and privacy > Settings.

On the left sidebar, click Privacy.

Find the “How people can find and contact you” section.

In it, you can see Edit beside Who can send you friend requests?

Click on it. Open the drop-down list, and you’ll see these options: Everyone and Friends of friends.

Select the one you prefer.

That’s all.

Set Who Can Send You Friend Requests on Facebook App (Android or iPhone)

Here are the steps:

Open the Facebook app.

Hit the three horizontal lines at the bottom if you’re on iPhone or the top if you’re on Android.

Tap Settings & privacy > Settings.

In the Audience and visibility section, you can view How people can find and contact you. Hit it.

Tap “Who can send you friend requests” above “Who can see your friends list.”

These two options are now available to you:

  • Everyone – Anyone on FB can send you a request.
  • Friends of friends – Friends of your FB friends can send you requests.

Pick the one you prefer.

That’s it.
