The Word wrap feature allows you to see the contents of the file within the window width so that you don’t have to scroll horizontally.
The word wrap feature in Notepad++ is disabled by default. Here’s how to enable it:
Hit View at the top.
Click on the Word wrap option. Keep in mind that a tick next to this option means it is enabled.
To disable word wrap, follow the steps above.
Here’s another way to disable or enable word wrap:
Click on the “Word wrap” icon, which you’ll find under the Plugins menu at the top.
Keep in mind that the “Blue” color over the icon means it’s enabled.
To create a shortcut for the word wrap, follow these steps:
Hit Settings at the top of the Notepad++.
Click on Shortcut Mapper.
Using the Filter at the bottom, you can quickly find the Word wrap in the Name column.
You can see that the Shortcut column is blank for Word wrap.
Double-click the “Word wrap.”
Click OK after setting the shortcut in the pop-up window.
That’s it. From now on, you can use the shortcut to enable or disable word wrap.
